GMEB1 Full-Length MS Protein Standard

Product Information
Protein Name
glucocorticoid modulatory element binding protein 1
Description
GMEB1 Full-Length MS Protein Standard (NP_006573), Labeled with [U- 13C6, 15N4]-L-Arginine and [U- 13C6, 15N2]-L-Lysine, was produced in human 293 cells (HEK293) with fully chemically defined cell culture medium to obtain incorporation efficiency at Creative-Proteomics. This gene encodes a member of KDWK gene family which associates with GMEB2 protein. The GMEB1-GMEB2 complex is essential for parvovirus DNA replication. Studies in rat for a similar gene suggest that this genes role is to modulate the transactivation of the glucocorticoid receptor when it is bound to glucocorticoid response elements. Two alternative spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms exist.
