C3orf37 Full-Length MS Protein Standard (NP_064572), Labeled with [U- ¹³C₆, ¹⁵N₄]-L-Arginine and [U- ¹³C₆, ¹⁵N₂]-L-Lysine, was produced in human 293 cells (HEK293) with fully chemically defined cell culture medium to obtain incorporation efficiency at Creative-Proteomics. Specifically binds 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC)-containing DNA in stem cells, suggesting that it acts as a specific reader of 5hmC in stem cells (By similarity). May act as a peptidase; experimental evidences are however required to confirm this prediction (PubMed:23945014).
